I developed A Peace of Mind Home Inspections with the average home buyer in mind. A home is the single most expensive purchase most people will ever make in their entire life. I want to be of assistance in that purchase of your home by offering a non-biased home inspection at a reasonable cost. I developed this small business with the customer’s satisfaction being of great importance to me. My services do not stop at the time I get paid. If a follow-up inspection is needed for a particular area of the home after repair, I will do so at no further charge and questions are always free.
I have always been interested in the way a home is built and all the different systems that make up the complete home. Even as a small boy, when ever a new house was being built in the neighborhood, I would be there to watch the home take shape from ground breaking to completion. As the framing went up I would try and figure out what the different rooms would be, where the furnace would go, and how the home would look once completed.
I decided to take early retirement from M&M Mars where I worked as a machinery and facility planner and scheduler for 18.5 years. I have held an electrical contractors license and have done a lot of home remodeling. I have taken the required education by the state of Illinois and currently hold a valid home inspector license.
I service the central Illinois area including Ford, Grundy, Kankakee, Iroquois, Livingston, McLean and Will counties.
